Dear Edwina, JR.
Dear Edwina JR., is a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up, from the creators of Junie B. Jones, The Musical. Written in a “show-within-a-show” format, Dear Edwina JR. is the perfect musical for a new generation.
Dear Edwina JR. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly "Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy, and poignant songs.
Performance Location: Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall
COVID 19 AUDIENCE SAFETY POLICY
We are thrilled to be able to offer in-person performances!
At WHCT, the safety of our patrons, actors, and staff is our highest priority. We continue to monitor and follow the guidelines and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Nevada Department of Health Guidelines as we develop and refine our COVID-19 Safety Practices & Policies to ensure a safe and clean experience for everyone. We will continue to update our practices and plans as circumstances and guidelines change.
What We’re Asking You to Do:
We will require masks for all audience members, except for children under the age of 2. If you do not have a mask entering the theater, we will have masks available. An exception will also be made for patrons when eating or drinking in designated areas.
Monitor your health, and the health of your family. If you feel ill for any reason, please do not come to the theatre. Your health and safety, and that of our other patrons, our actors and our staff is our highest priority.
Purchase with Confidence! If you must miss your scheduled performance for health reasons, or if any performances need to be cancelled for any reason, ticketholders will be rescheduled at no charge, have their money held on account to be used at their convenience, or refunded.
What We’re Doing:
All WHCT staff will be required to wear masks when in our building. The exception will be our performers, who will not be masked while on stage during performances, but they will be masked backstage and have been masked throughout our rehearsal period on stage and off. We anticipate that most of our young performers will have been vaccinated now that vaccines are available for all age groups.
No one will be seated on the floor in front of the stage. Everyone must have a designated seat.
Concessions will be available in the lobby. Please social distancing as much as possible while eating and drinking.
Programs will not be recycled to reduce the potential for germ spread.
All public spaces, door handles, light switches, and other high-touch surfaces will be sanitized frequently with recommended disinfectants. In the theater, all seats and surfaces are sanitized between performances with an ionic air purification system.
Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be available for patron use throughout the lobby and entrance areas.
Touchless soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers are installed in the bathrooms to reduce high-touch surfaces.
