Wild Horse Children's Theater Field Trip Series
Let Our Stages Be Your Classroom!
Since 2007, thorough generous grants from the Nevada Arts Council and private donors, Wild Horse Children’s Theater has operated with a mission to education, entertain and enrich the lives of children through the magic of theater. Our philosophy? Every child of every background deserves the opportunity to see live theatrical productions, and benefits from the exposure, immersion and integration of arts education into the learning process. Teachers and students benefit from Study Guides when schools attend our theater field trips.
At WHCT we are EDUCATION wrapped in amazing, inspiring productions performed by children for children, to engage your students! Performances are designed to introduce children to live theater and captivate their imaginations with the excitement of staged performances.
There’s simply no better way to introduce students to the performing arts than by attending an engaging and affordable performance at WHCT. The shows in our exciting Field Trip Series are well-suited for children in pre-K, elementary and middle school.

SPIRIT OF WILD HORSE
The “Spirit of Wild Horse Theater” Award is presented to applaud a cast or crew member who exemplifies the true spirit of WHCT. These individuals bring their positive attitude, commitment, teamwork, love and, of course, “spirit” to Wild Horse Children’s Theater. This person would have excellent attendance at all rehearsals, accepted any and all roles given to them with grace, works hard without complaint, and leads by example in rehearsals and in all aspects of the production in which they are involved.
Spirit of Wild Horse Recipients:
“FINDING YOUR LIGHT" - Jeffrey Scott Technical Award
Jeffrey Scott was a founding member and Technical Director of Wild Horse Children’s Theater and instrumental in bringing the “magic” to our productions. Jeffrey’s love and passion for theater was evident in his work and he inspired and served as a mentor to many of our backstage crew who had the opportunity to know and work with him.
We honor Jeffrey’s memory with the “Finding Your Light” award to applaud a crew member who has made an outstanding contribution and effort to a production by demonstrating positive attitude, teamwork, professionalism, enthusiasm, hard work and commitment to excellence behind-the-scenes.
