Education: Theater in the Schools
We know that exposing schoolchildren to the arts increases the effectiveness of classroom teaching. Studies indicate a strong link between arts programs in school and student achievement, including critical thinking, teamwork and communication skills. Arts education has never been easier because WE COME TO YOU.
Wild Horse Children’s Theater “Theater in Our Schools” works in concert with educators to support and complement their existing curricula, both through the shows we select and the study guides we provide to the schools. These study guides are provided to educators and parents as a tool to assist learning before and after our productions, maximizing the theatre experience. Past productions included “Peace Project”, partially funded by Ben & Jerry’s Foundation and “Seussical, Jr”, partially funded by the Nevada Arts Council.
